Description:

When using the hMSport app in a triathlon the app did not save the expected set of separate .FIT files.

The strange thing is the event summary screen within the app does show the expect 5 stages (swim, t1, bike, t2,run) but activity FIT files were only created for

- Swim
- T1
- T2

I did check the watch via a USB cable, and there were no other FIT files created other than those uploaded via Garmin Connect and no entries in the logs folder to explain the behavior

I am sure that I did not suffer this problem last season (2022) using the same watch and app. So I do wonder if the issue has been introduced in a recent update (last 6 months)?

Just to note, as I have checked that if I use the app in the 'save to a single file' mode the app works as expected. Hence I do have a valid workaround for the problem, hence marking this as major and not critical.

Thank you for the message. Have you had this work successfully before? Could you please connect your device to a computer, and send me the ERR_LOG.TXT in the root folder and the CIQ_LOG.TXT in the Garmin/Apps/Logs folder? Thanks
